DoDo Manager Settings
WebApp
Application Name
Defines the name of the application.
Slogan
Defines the slogan of the application.
Login Image Path
Defines the background image displayed on the login screen and within the application.
IP / Host
Defines the network interface on which the Manager will run.
Use 0.0.0.0 to enable it on all network interfaces.
SSL Enabled
Determines whether the Manager runs over HTTP or HTTPS. Currently, the Manager does not support SSL certificates directly. If SSL is enabled, a reverse proxy should be configured in front of the Manager.
Check for Savegame Changes (min)
Defines how often the Manager checks for savegame changes. If the modification timestamp of an .ark file differs from the timestamp recorded during the previous check, the corresponding savegame will be reloaded.
Tribe Log Limit
Defines the maximum number of entries displayed in the tribe log.
Display Cloud Uploads (hours)
Defines how long uploaded items TributeItemExpirationSeconds and creatures TributeDinoExpirationSeconds are displayed as valid in the Manager. Ideally, this duration should match the expiration settings configured on the ARK servers.
Delete Notifications After (days)
Defines how long notifications are stored before being deleted.
Menu Settings
Here you can configure the display names of menu items and customize their order in the menu.
Registration
Registration Command
Specifies the registration command displayed during the registration process. This should match the command configured in the Companion Plugin.
Password Reset Command
Specifies the password reset command displayed during the password recovery process. This should match the command configured in the Companion Plugin.
RCON Verification Command
The command sent to the ARK server via RCON.
{EOSID}: The EOS ID entered by the user.
{CODE}: The verification code generated by DoDo Manager.
Start Code Message
The message displayed to the player after entering /dodostart.
EOS ID Already Registered Message
The message displayed to the player if the EOS ID has already been registered.
Forgot Password Message
The message displayed to the player after entering /dodoreset.
Database
DoDo Manager requires a database to store certain data. MySQL is supported, and SQLite is used as an alternative if MySQL is not available.
SQLite does not require any additional server configuration or dependencies.
MySQL is recommended for communities with a large number of players.
Cluster
DoDo Manager supports the management of multiple clusters.
Cluster Key
Can be freely chosen and does not have to match the Cluster ID of the ARK server.
This key is assigned to individual ARK servers in DoDo Manager and determines how the servers are grouped and displayed in the WebApp.
Name
The display name shown in the WebApp.
Cluster Directory
The location where the ARK cluster data is stored, as optionally configured using -ClusterDirOverride=.
Example: C:\ARKServer\cluster1
Server
General
Server Key
The technical server key is not displayed in the WebApp. This key must be unique for each server.
Name
Display name in the WebApp.
Savegame
File path to the .ark savegame file.
Server Save Interval (min)
Should match the AutoSavePeriodMinutes setting of the ARK server. This allows the WebApp to display approximately when the next savegame update is expected.
Cluster Key
The Cluster Key previously configured under Cluster.
Network and RCON
IP / Host
IP address of the ARK server. Use 127.0.0.1 if the ARK server is running on the same host as DoDo Manager.
Query Port
Query port of the ARK server.
RCON Port
RCON port of the ARK server.
RCON Password
RCON password of the ARK server.
Remote Synchronization
Allows an ARK server to be connected via FTP. This feature is currently experimental.
Live Sync
Requires the Companion Plugin and the ARK API.
Enable Live Data?
Enables or disables live synchronization between DoDo Manager and the ARK server.
When disabled, the following features are not available:
- Registration and password recovery via /dodostart and /dodoreset in the in-game chat.
- Live creature tracking.
- Live player dashboard.
- Live breeding overview and waking up juvenile creatures from server stasis.
- Demolishing building structures or deleting creatures through the WebApp.
- Renaming creatures through the WebApp.
- Live synchronization of newly added creatures before the next savegame update.
Live Data Validity (sec)
Defines how long live data remains valid. If an ARK server does not send new live data within the configured time, DoDo Manager falls back to the data from the latest savegame.
Signature Time Tolerance (sec)
The plugin signs data packets with a timestamp. The timestamp must not differ from the current DoDo Manager time by more than the configured value. Otherwise, the packet will be rejected.
Creature Push Interval (sec)
Defines how often new creatures and updates for tamed or growing creatures are pushed to DoDo Manager.
Wake Juvenile Creatures from Stasis
When enabled, juvenile creatures are periodically awakened from stasis according to the configured Wake-Up Interval (min). This helps prevent young creatures from starving on servers with low player activity, even when sufficient food is available. It also provides up-to-date information for the raising overview in the WebApp.
Important: Not all juvenile creatures are awakened simultaneously. A maximum of 4 juvenile creatures are awakened per second. For example, waking up 20 juvenile creatures from stasis takes 5 seconds.
Generator Structures
Enabled
Enables or disables the entry.
Class
The class name of the placed structure. The class can be identified using the cheat DebugStructures command. For example, a vanilla Tek Generator uses the class StorageBox_TekGenerator_C.
Requires Fuel
Specifies whether the generator requires fuel to operate.
Fuel Classes
Specifies which items can be used as fuel for this generator.
PrimalItemResource_Element_C, PrimalItemResource_ElementShard_C
Offline Intervals
Some generators may temporarily appear offline after a server restart. This setting determines how many consecutive checks a generator must remain offline before a notification is triggered. The status is checked after each ARK server savegame update. A value of 1 sends a notification immediately when the generator is detected as offline. A value of 2 waits for one additional savegame update before sending a notification.
